Re: making jewelry while pregnant? - yeah, i was just wondering because when i make jewelry i often notice a metal residue on my hands-particularly with stainless steel and silver wires. but i notice with gold and copper too. wearing it is fine, but i wondered if forming wire jewelry would be a bit too much?... Re: making jewelry while pregnant? - I've never heard it was unsafe to wear them while pregnant. Gold especially is a pretty inert substance. I can't see what harm could come, especially if you are not using other chemicals or fire.... making jewelry while pregnant? - Just curious: Is it safe to work (cold) with silver and gold and copper, etc. while pregnant? Is it just a no soldering/casting thing, or should one stay away from working with metals all together? A recent discussion led me to wonder and google is not turning up specific answers yet, so i thought i'd ask you ladies for input :D...
